2020-2021 Updated Bus Procedures

Bus Rider Information: Please see the attached letter from Miller Bus Service regarding bus times for pick up and shuttles beginning Wednesday, August 19.

Good Morning Remote Learning Families! Thank you for being patient with us as our teachers work out the final details for your students. They will be communicating schedules with you prior to Wednesday. On Monday, August 17 from 1:00-2:30 pm and Tuesday, August 18 from 9:00-10:00 am we will be distributing materials to all of our remote learning families. These materials will include devices if they were requested . For all students we will be distributing workbooks, handouts, books, or anything else they will need to complete the online work. If these times do not work for you then please call the office at 578-2229 to set up a time. Students will need these devices and materials to start Remote Learning on Wednesday, August 19. This will be a drive through service in the front of the building. Please enter where the buses drop off, circle to the front by the awning and call the office at 578-2229. We will bring the materials out to your car. Please remain in your vehicle while we bring the materials to you.

Good Afternoon AHGS Parents and Guardians, Today, we released our Return to Learn Details for Atwood-Hammond Grade School. We are excited to start the school year on Wednesday, August 19. The document was posted as a google slide show on our district social media pages as well as a document on our website. If you need a paper copy of the document please call the office at 578-2229. For students who have chosen the remote option, the details will be shared soon as they are being finalized. Thank you for you patience as we begin the 2020-2021 school year. Classroom Aide Atwood-Hammond Grade School is looking for a classroom aide for the 2020-2021 school year. Candidates will assist in all areas of the building including, but not limited to lunchroom, classrooms, library, outside duties, and any other areas needed to help students. On Thursday, July 30th, 2020 the Arthur CUSD #305 Board of Education approved the return to school in person learning plan. Details of the plan are included in the link below, as well as additional plans that may need to be utilized depending on what phase the Governor of Illinois and the Illinois State Board of Education deems necessary. This is a reminder that school registration is open this week online through Skyward's Family Access. If you have not registered your student for the 2020-2021 school year, please register them by this Friday, June 26. If you have any questions regarding registration or need your Skyward login information, please call your student's school office. All physical, dental, eye, and medication forms are available through the online registration or in the registration section on our district website. Documents needed for the following grade levels: Birth certificate (new students), School physical exams/proof of immunizations: New students, K, 6th, 9th grade, Dental Exam: K, 2nd, 6th, 9th grade, Vision Exam: K, Sports Physical (JH & HS athletes) - Freshman physical counts as sports physical, Proof of receiving (2) Meningitis vaccines: 12th grade - Only one dose is required if the first dose was received at 16 years of age or older. Any student who will need to take any medication at school (this includes prescription or over the counter) must have the medication authorization form on file signed by both the parent/guardian and the healthcare provider.
