AHGS Is hosting a $mart Family Night tomorrow night at the school. A free meal of hot dogs, chips and a drink will be provided. Popcorn, candy and prizes for games will be available all evening as well. This event will be held in the AHGS cafeteria from 5-7 pm.

It’s been fun giving away Book Blast Treasure Chests and even an iPad over the past two weeks. Coming soon...the $100 Book Blast shopping sprees! To our students and families, great job completing your Treasure Maps. Enjoy your fun rewards! We will celebrate soon with all the books heading our way. Congratulations to Selah Beck! She completed her 20th reading log reading 400 books or chapters. She also read a story to the class and took an AR test leaving her Comfort Zone!! We are so proud of her!
This is a reminder that tomorrow, Thursday, February 9 is a School Improvement Day. The high school will dismiss at 1:00 and the grade schools will dismiss at 1:15.
The Book Blast is going strong as we approach these last few days of the event. The student with the highest dollar amount of contributions from each grade level will be awarded a $100 Book Blast shopping spree. On top of that, the student with the highest dollar amount of contributions in the school will be awarded an additional $100 shopping spree. So, one student winner will be going home with a total of $200 in Book Blast shopping sprees!

Mrs. Strack's first graders moved stars today for Knight Bucks earned in January! This is part of our PBIS program and students earn a prize when they have enough knight bucks.
We also got a prize today for hitting the Homework Highway 2nd quarter! Way to go 1S!!
