The Douglas County Health Department COVID hotline # (1-801-997-0019) will no longer be operational after Nov. 30, 2020. Any calls to DCHD, COVID related or not, should be made to the main phone number at 217-253-4137.
There will be no COVID testing at Douglas County Health Department the week of Nov. 23-27, 2020 due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Drive-thru testing will resume Monday, Nov. 30 on the regular schedule of Mondays-Thursdays 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The testing site is Building J600 at Tuscola Outlet Mall, between Old Navy and Vanity Fair.

Arthur CUSD 305 is able to offer free meals for students who pre-order for the week. This form MUST be filled out by the end of the day on Thursday, November 12 to order meals for the Week of November 16.

To celebrate a great day's work from both in-person and remote learners, we celebrate with a dance break!


LGS Student Council is sponsoring a food drive next week! The contest will extend to the community next Saturday from 9-11:30. Look for more details next week! All food will benefit Christ's Food Pantry.

Today was the 50th day of school so Mrs. Luttrell's Kindergarten class celebrated with 50's Day. We listened to 50's music, learned the Hand Jive and had root beer floats! The root beer floats were a hit! We also practiced counting to 50 different ways.

Red Ribbon Week Door Contest...and the winners are 4th Grade as 1st Place with "There's no Place for Drugs", Kindergarten was 2nd Place with "Drugs Can drive you Batty", and 3rd Grade was 3rd Place with "This is you, This is you on Drugs".
