Lovington Grade School

The 4th grade class at LGS is learning all about ecosystems. Students learned that ecosystems include the living and nonliving things in an environment and the different ways these things interact. After learning the definition, students were able to select an ecosystem that was within North America. The students then had to research their ecosystems. The students also had to create food chains and plan to include their food chains within their displays. Students from other grades were encouraged to come by the display and try to identify each ecosystem and write down the food chain in the correct order.
