Hello Knight Family:
WOW!!! What a fun week we have had all leading up to today. Student Council planned activities and the gyms and football field were filled with cheering, laughter and just good old fashion fun. We had cheerleaders playing football, football players being cheerleaders, macho volleyball, a performance by our pep band, games galore, a little community service work, visits with our grade schools, a huge bonfire and at least two (if not more) dance offs! Make sure you ask your student who won Macho Volleyball! Hint: it wasn’t the predicted seniors or the sophomores who made it to the final round! We have two more days of homecoming activites with our parade and football game plus the dance!
Here is the lineup for the next two days regarding Homecoming. Note that we are hosting a soccer game BEFORE the football game with slightly adjusted times!

Congratulations to Brooklyn Matheny who was named Student of the Month this past week at a breakfast for the nominees. We also want to congratulate all that were nominated, as it really is an honor. They were: Alauna Cain, Jesus Corona, Jonny Barbee, Alyssa Richards, Emilee Sammarco, Maddix Stirrett, Abigail Miller, Jayce Parsons, Savannah Butcher, Alexis Helmuth, Kaci Beachy, Noah Shoemaker, Isaiah Bates, Lily Vanda, Noah Boskovitch, Brooklyn Matheny, Brooklyn Gingerich, Callie Tidwell, Mason Kreher, Parker Dick, Austyn Scroggins, Anna Rawlins, Rialynn Slaughter, Tristan Keagle, Skyler Graham.
If you have a junior, they will be taking the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday morning. The test will take all morning. They will have an extended lunch hour and then return for their afternoon classes. This is a practice test for the SAT and qualifies students for various scholarships. It provides us with data to know how to help continue preparing your student for the SAT in April.
Remember, no school on Monday as we observe Columbus Day!
Have a safe and fun weekend !
