      • Today- Wild Wild Western Wednesday - boots, jeans, cowboy hats. Flex teachers - please count students that have participated in today’s theme and complete the form that Mrs. Sluder shared with you! Students, please be sure to participate every day so you can earn points for your class!

      • Spirit Day Tally - Here is the tally of our spirit day participation so far. Your class still has time to move up! Make sure you are in red, black and gold tomorrow! 4th place - juniors, 3rd place - sophomores, 2nd place - freshmen, and 1st place - seniors.

      • Thursday - Red, black and gold

      • Friday - Wear your Knights Gear to the parade!

Float Building all students may participate in float building during study hall today, even if required to stay for study hall grades. 

The Bass Fishing team will be participating in the parade Friday.  This is for existing members and anyone that signed up.  Truck and boat will be behind school at 2:00 Friday.

TShirts - Powderpuff and wild west shirts are available from Mrs. Sluder. If you don’t have yours yet, please pick it up today.

Hour Long Lunch: Students who have spent 2 hours or more helping with float building, decorating hallways AND helping clean up after the parade will receive an hour long lunch next week. 

Homecoming Pictures:  Carlie Justice is going to be taking professional photos at the Homecoming Dance. If you want to have your photos taken the cost is $5 per person. The money (cash or check) and form can be turned into the office by Thurs. Oct. 6. You can also pay with cash in person at the dance. You will receive a digital image by email or text. You can then use the image to order your own prints. 

Student Council - no meeting during study hall today

Macho Volleyball - students participating in Macho volleyball can practice during study hall today.

  • Powder Puff and Bonfire 7pm

  • Reading Challenge - The library is offering a reading challenge starting October 1. We are challenging students and teachers to read from this year's Lincoln Award nominees. The list is a part of the Illinois Readers' Choice Award and includes 20 titles.  CONTEST RULES: 1. Read a book from this list. 2. Write your simple review of the book and email it to mundsb@cusd305.org or drop it off in the library. 3. Win a gift card! Each review will be entered into a monthly drawing from the library. Drawings for a gift card will be held on the last (school) day of the month.
