Hello Knight Family:
On Wednesday evening we hosted one of our very favorite events of the school year, Honor’s Night. Forty one seniors and five juniors were invited to receive scholarships and awards totalling $815,200. Although the gym was sweltering, it couldn’t take away from celebrating the enormous accomplishments of our students.
Next week is crazy busy for ALAH. On Tuesday evening we will have our band and chorus concert, Wednesday our seniors will visit their grade schools, have their formal graduation pictures taken and enjoy a catered lunch with the faculty on their final day of high school. Thursday brings the Freshmen Class Trivia Night fundraiser for (not too late to sign up) plus we have boys track sectional, and regionals for baseball and softball are also on the calendar! Of course we are only a few days away from final exams as well. Your high schooler will definitely be looking forward to the break from our hectic calendar!
Did you know that outside the high school office there are now two lost and found tables! We have quite the collection stashed here. Please encourage your student to check it out and look for their missing air pods, house keys, sweatshirt, lunch box, coat, pe shorts, glasses, jewelry etc. etc! What doesn’t get claimed will be donated to the thrift shop in June.
