  • PSAT/SAT Makeup Testing Today - bells will be off.  The building should be in quiet mode until all testing is complete. Thank you!

  • Cap and Gowns were delivered yesterday. Seniors please try yours on and make sure it fits. If you didn’t get your cap and gown please stop by the office.

  • Cheerleading: There will be an information meeting on May 5th for anyone interested in trying out for cheer. Cheer clinics will be held on May 9, 10, 11 and 12th and tryouts will be on the 13th. If you are interested in trying out for cheerleading please stop by the office and pick up an information sheet. 

  • Color Guard - Auditions for the 2022 Marching Knights Color Guard are on May 2nd and May 4th. Please sign up and find more information in the office. For questions, contact Mr. Wood.

  • Juniors and Seniors Vote for Prom King and Queen:  A Google Form to vote for this year's prom king and queen has been emailed to you.  Please cast your vote by Friday.  

  • Prom court:  A Google Form concerning coronation was emailed to you last week.  Please complete this form ASAP.  

  • Summer Job Opportunity: Students: If you are interested in working for CUSD #305 over the summer please pickup an application in the office. These positions will start work on May  26th. Applications are due back in the office on May 6th. Pay is $12 per hour. Hours are 6-3pm Monday through Thursday and 6-10pm on Friday. This is a great way to earn money over the summer.  

  • Juniors and seniors: If you need transportation to this year's prom at The Devon, please let Mrs. Rafferty or Mrs. Seegmiller know by this Friday. 

  • Spring Concert for chorus, percussion, ensemble and band is May 17th at 7:30. 

  • NHS Service Project: National Honor Society is collecting a variety of donations to support the organizations and churches that help provide support for our communities. NHS students delivered bags to houses through our community last Wednesday and asked that filled bags be left on porches and stairs where they would be easily accessible. NHS members will return to pick up donations this Wednesday, April 27th between 3:30-6:30. If anyone did not receive a bag but would like to donate they can pick up a bag at Los Gallos and drop the filled bag back off at the high school. If there are questions please email Mrs. Huffman at huffmank@cusd305.org.  Items being collected include: Toiletries, socks, backpacks, wrapping paper, school supplies, scarves/gloves, winter coats and non-perishable food.

  • On this Day: in 1859 Dan Sickles was acquitted of murder on grounds of temporary insanity. It was the 1st time this defense was used successfully in the US.
