Christmas Clothing Drive, anyone with extra clothing to donate - there will be a clothes drive on Saturday, December 14 from Noon - 3:30pm at the Southern Baptist Church in Arthur. Any questions, please see Logan Burgin.
Caitlyn Hoots, Ava Sherwood, and Perla Juarez-Cuevas have decided to create a hot cocoa bar to raise money for Mi Raza in collaboration with Hispanic Culture Club as their Civics In Action project. Hot cocoa will become available on Tuesday, December 17, during Flex in the Foyer. You MUST prepay $2 to Mr. Davis and sign up! Sign ups to get your hot cocoa will be open Tuesday, December 10th through Monday, December 16. If you do not prepay, there is no promise that you can get a hot cocoa. Donations are accepted. All proceeds will go to Mi Raza, a wonderful organization in Arcola, IL. that offers various services for Hispanic families in Douglas County. They take pride in having assisted individuals from 40 countries.
There will be an FCA/Shield Christmas Party on Saturday, December 21st from 6:30-9 pm at the High School - there will be a devotional, games, snacks, a gift exchange, etc. There are flyers around school with details!
