License Plates

  • Happy Birthday today to Trinity Stayton, Andrew Stutzman and Mrs. Arnett. 

  • Boys Basketball - Students interested in playing boys basketball next year please plan on meeting Coach Parks at a meeting next Thursday, May 2nd during study hall.

  • Juniors and Seniors: Please vote for this year's prom king and queen before the end of the day on Friday. 

  • Seniors, please fill out the forms and surveys sent to your email from the Journalism class. The answers submitted will be included in the last edition of the Knightly News: Senior Edition!

  • Color Guard - If you are interested in joining Color Guard but are not sure if it is right for you, there will be two workshops after school from 5pm-6pm on April 29th and May 1st. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Bettinger for more details. 

  • Summer Work: Students, if you are interested in working for the school over the summer please complete the online application. These positions will start work on May 27th and pay is $14 per hour. Hours are 6am-3pm Monday through Thursday and 6am-10am on Fridays. You must be 16 years old by May 27th. This is a great way to earn money over the summer! 

  • Signing - Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School is proud to announce that senior football student-athlete Jayce Parsons will be committing to continue his athletic participation on the intercollegiate level at Illinois College.  In honor of Jayce's accomplishments, Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School will be hosting a reception on Thursday, May 2nd at 3:30 p.m. in the gymnasium at Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School.

  • Post Prom - If you have not signed up for post prom, please have forms turned in this Friday morning.

  • Softball in Atwood vs. Argenta Oreana at 4:30 pm 

  • Baseball in Arcola  at 4:30, bus leaves at 3:00, dismissal time 2:45

  • Drivers Ed - students that will need to drive with an instructor this summer should meet during study hall for a meeting next Thursday May 2nd in the old gym. 

  • On this Day: in 1091 New York became the first U.S. state to mandate license plates when Governor Benjamin Odell, Jr., signed a law ordering automobiles and motorcycles to display “the separate initials of the owner's name placed upon the back thereof in a conspicuous place.”

  • Girls Track at Monticello. Meet at 4:30.  Bus time 3:00, dismissal time 2:45

  • Boys Track - at St. Joe, Meet at 4:30. Bus leaves at 2:30, dismissal time 2:15

  • Softball vs. Rantoul Twp High School at Wabash Park, Diamond 3.  Game time 4:30, bus leaves at 2:25, dismissal time 2:10

  • Baseball vs. Cerro Gordo in Lovington.  Game time 4:30
