  • Happy Birthday to Grace Romine!

  • Juniors and seniors:  If you plan to attend prom, your RSVP is due to Mrs. Rafferty THIS Friday, April 19.  This includes paying $40 per person, signing up for a table, and turning in guest forms.

  • Prom Guest Forms - If you intend to take a guest to prom that is not a ALAH HS junior or senior, then you need to complete a Guest Request Form and turn it in this Friday. 

  • Post Prom Permission Forms - post prom permission forms are available in the office. If you are going to post prom please pick one up.

  • Summer Work: Students, if you are interested in working for the school over the summer please complete the online application. These positions will start work on May 27th and pay is $14 per hour. Hours are 6am-3pm Monday through Thursday and 6am-10am on Fridays. You must be 16 years old by May 27th. This is a great way to earn money over the summer! 

  • Congratulations to Perla Juarez-Cuevas for earning a Gold Medal in the Career Investigation STAR Event at the 2024 Illinois FCCLA State Conference in Springfield. She represented ALAH well and earned a very high rating. She was also named an Illinois National Delegate and Most Outstanding in her category.

  • Field Trip - Foods Class to grocery

  • Seniors, please fill out the forms and surveys sent to your email from the Journalism class. The answers submitted will be included in the last edition of the Knightly News: Senior Edition!

  • School Board Meeting 6pm

  • Signing - Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School is proud to announce that senior football student-athlete Jayce Parsons will be committing to continue his athletic participation on the intercollegiate level at Illinois College.  In honor of Jayce's accomplishments, Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School will be hosting a reception on Thursday, May 2nd at 3:30 p.m. in the gymnasium at Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School.
  • One Good Fact: A camel’s nose acts like a dehumidifier. Inside the nose are narrow, winding passages lined with mucus that absorbs moisture while the camel exhales, ensuring as little water as possible leaves the camel’s body.
