Hello Knight Family:
We have a crazy week next week with the solar eclipse, PSAT/SAT testing, our Senior Etiquette Workshop, and a School Improvement Day all on the calendar.
A couple of reminders for our week:
Monday:
Students attending the solar eclipse field trip are leaving at 8:30 am and need lunch money. We are hoping to be home by 5:00 pm, depending on traffic.
Students watching the eclipse from school are welcome to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. We are providing glasses.
Tuesday:
Seniors meet off campus for their Senior Etiquette Workshop.
Juniors will be dismissed from school at approximately noon after their test.
Freshmen and Sophomores will have an hour-long lunch after their test.
Following lunch, freshmen and sophomores will sign up for games, movies, etc. for the afternoon. Students who are failing a class will be provided the opportunity to make up work with their teacher.
Our senior class has done a great job of raising funds for their senior trip coming at the end of the month. We all know that everything from food to gas costs more these days and the senior class is certainly feeling this impact. We are trying to raise $4,000 to help with their expenses. Class of 2022 alumna, Kelly Toto and her family have graciously offered to donate 20% of their profits from their La Cascada Mexican Grill in Arthur every Thursday in April! We are grateful for their generosity and hope you will support these efforts!
One of our favorite yearly traditions is Dessert Theater. The Fine Arts Boosters are hosting this annual event on Saturday at 7 p.m. in the gyms. Our chorus, art and band students, grades 6-12 have been working hard for weeks to prepare. Everyone is welcome to come and join us for this fun evening!
