  • Picture Retake day is next Friday, November 17th. If you were absent on picture day in August or you need to have your picture retaken for another reason, please be prepared to have your picture taken next Friday afternoon. The Inter-State order code is 81400BT. Orders can be placed online at inter-state.com/order

  • Service Hours - If you need service hours we have two opportunities this week.

    • Thursday at 1pm - help put up flags at the high school - Anyone interested meet outside the gym foyer in the Parking lot.

    • Thursday at 4pm - help the Arthur American Legion Auxiliary place flags along Main St. and at the nursing home.  Anyone interested meet at the Arthur Visitor Center parking lot at 4:00 pm

  • Rotary Student of the Month nominees breakfast will be during flex. Nominees include: Skyler Armacher, Cal Binion, Mckenna Blaudow, Maxton Boddy, Hannah Carter, Morgan Casteel, Jaidyn Edwards, Cruz Hale, Will Hilligoss, Caitlin Hoots, Simon Kauffman, Tristan Keagle, Kori Klay, Kimberly Krutsinger, Ryan Malin, Kale McComas, Sophia Monts, Reece Oye, Lindsay Rohacs, Ava Sherwood, Rialynn Slaughter, Dana Soard, Trey Strode and Jacob Tighe. The winner will be announced in the library during flex. 

  • Winter Guard - Do you like to dance or throw a flag around for fun? If so, you should join Winter Guard! Winter Guard is more laid back than Color Guard and you get to express yourself in a different way. You do not need any experience to join. You just need to bring a great attitude and be ready to have fun! There will be an informational meeting today, Wednesday, November 8th, during study hall in the band room.   • Game club will meet in the library after school today"

  • One Good Fact:  Margarine is naturally white, but sellers often tint it yellow to make it look more like butter. In 1902, due to pressure from the dairy industry, many U.S. states had laws against yellow-tinting. New Hampshire had a law requiring margarine to be dyed pink until it was overturned by the Supreme Court.
