Hello Knight Family:
What a crazy hot week! We are not great fans of this heat dome, that is for sure. We appreciate everyone’s flexibility with all of the schedule changes. Hopefully, next week will just be a regular week.
A quick reminder that we need your student at school every day! Even on early dismissal days attendance is important. Missing a day of school here and there may not seem like much, but absences add up! When a student misses 4 days a month they miss 40 days a year. That equates to 60 hours of math, 120 hours of reading and writing and by graduation they will have missed a full year of high school. One way you can help your student be successful at school is making sure they attend!
Mark your calendars for next Friday night! We will kick off our first home football game with Knights Fest! Knights Fest is Friday, September 1st from 4-7 pm on the practice field. There will be food trucks (Kona Ice, Slow Spark BBQ, Sizzlin Tizzler, Sweeteaz), Inflatables and Zipline! Wristbands are $10 for unlimited access on inflatables, zipline and entrance to the football game. All funds raised support Knights athletics. All community members are welcome!
