Hello Knight Family:
It has been such a rewarding week at ALAH. Our spring concert, Honor’s Night, Honor’s Day Assembly and an afternoon of service Thursday afternoon. Seeing our students share their talents, watching our students receive awards and scholarships brings joy to everyone around. The icing on the proverbial cake was working side by side with our students as they worked with students in our grade schools, planted flowers, helped the maintenance crew and so much more on a beautiful May afternoon.
Of course all of this means that the semester will be quickly coming to an end. Please take time to check your student’s grades on Skyward and help them plan out how they are finishing their work next week as well as studying for their final exams. Studying a little at a time over the course of several days will bring better results than cramming for everything the night before. Don’t hesitate to reach out to your student’s teachers with any questions or concerns.
The Class of 2023 will have their final day of school on Wednesday, May 17th. On Wednesday, they will visit their grade schools for the traditional walk through the halls in their graduation robes and then return to the high school for their formal graduation pictures. MasterBrand provides us a catered luncheon to cap off their final day of high school. Doesn’t it seem like yesterday that they were starting kindergarten?
Remember there is no school on Friday!
