Hello Knight Family:
We have hit the ground running in our final week of March. Last week a few of our FFA students went to Legislative Day in Springfield. There were so many ‘blue coats’ at the capitol it was breathtaking! Also, our A & P students went to Eastern Illinois University and LakeLand College to their science and cadaver labs. Talk about cool hands-on experiences! In addition to this, two of our students, senior Brady Moore and junior Evanger Wiley competed in Youth Legislative Day with Coles Moultrie Electric Coop. Students interviewed in a competition to attend Youth Day in Washington DC. Congratulations to Evanger Wiley in winning the top spot to go to Washington, DC in June!
If you have a senior you received an email last week with a list of important dates. The first one is this week when graduation announcements and tankard orders will be distributed at the school. Watch for many more senior “events” in the coming weeks. If you didn’t get an email, please call the office and we will make sure you get everything that gets sent out in the future. Don’t forget that our cinnamon roll orders are due today! Call us if your student forgot to bring in their paper - we need those totals.
It was a busier than normal weekend at ALAH. In addition to our regular athletics, there were cheerleading tryouts on Friday evening, Dessert Theater and Senior Spotlight on Saturday evening and National Honors Society Induction Sunday afternoon!
