October 26-October 30 we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week at AHGS.
The theme for the 2020 Red Ribbon Week is: "Be happy. Be Brave. Be drug free!"
National Family Partnership provides drug awareness by sponsoring the annual National Red Ribbon Campaign™. Red Ribbon Week is the oldest and largest drug prevention campaign in the country. The National Family Partnership organized the first nationwide Red Ribbon Campaign in 1988. Since that time, the campaign has reached millions of U.S. children. Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States.
We will be holding Dress up Days all through the week! Please see below for the daily dress up themes.
Monday- Kick Off- Wear Red from toe to Head
Tuesday- "Too Bright for Drugs" Wear tie-dye or bright colors
Wednesday- "Don't be caught sleeping. Say no to drugs." Wear your Pajamas
Thursday- "Life is your Journey. Travel Drug free." Dress like a tourist to a place you would like to travel.
Friday: "Say 'Boo' to drugs- Wear your orange, black, and purple
