Good evening, I hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy during these trying times. We wanted to update you on some decisions related to the end of the year and changes in the calendar that have been recently made. We have made the decision to group the unused emergency days, as well as days that we didn't utilize over spring break and move up the end of the school year date. The official end of the year date will now be, Friday, May 15th.
We will not be sending home any more remote learning packets, but instead would like to give the students the opportunity to finish up the work that has already been distributed and give the teachers the opportunity to complete the process of reviewing the packets that have been collected. We hope that this gives the students plenty of time to finish the year strong, complete the work that has been distributed and return any packets and work that is still not completed.
We will still be providing breakfast and lunches through May 15th, so continue to provide the information we need to complete those orders. We will also continue to complete orders for families through the Knights Pantry until the end of May. Please continue to check your email for information related to placing those orders.
Please expect some communication from your student's Principal in the near future regarding information about the collection of items for each school. We also continue to develop and finalize plans to honor our 8th grade students and our Seniors and will be communicating those plans soon.
Finally, we sincerely thank all of you for your continued patience and support during these trying times. This is not how any of us envisioned the end of the school year however your support and love for this great district has been evident. We look forward to finishing the year strong and begin planning for next year. Thank you again and Go Knights!
