SCHOOL COUNSELOR/SOCIAL WORKER

Lovington Grade School has an opening for a School Counselor/Social Worker for the 2025-2026 school year. The school counselor/social worker will provide comprehensive school social work services to students addressing social/emotional issues that are a barrier to their success. He or she will understand and implement counseling theories and techniques in order to provide services for students who may be in crisis or who face ongoing challenges on a day-to-day basis. This position will also respond to and support students in a crisis situation by utilizing outside resources, conduct evaluations, and provide services for students with individualized education plans. Collaborating with staff in order to enhance the students educational experience and advocate for students' services is also a part of this role. DISTRICT BAND DIRECTOR

Strike up the band!  We are looking for an inspirational District Band Director who will instill a lifelong love of music in our students.  We know that music is more than notes on a page.  We are searching for a director who will bring enthusiasm, vision and creativity to our program. You will have the opportunity to direct and develop our district-wide band program, working with students from beginners to high school musicians. You will also grow our program and create unforgettable experiences through activities such as concerts, trips, pep band, marching band, and community events.We encourage new ideas, professional development, and creativity in building the program. SUMMER SCHOOL TEACHER

Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School is currently looking for a summer school educator.  The positions that are needed are listed below. We will have one section of credit recovery which will run from June 2nd - June 20th, 8 AM - 12 PM.   This class will be taught using the APEX computer modules.  This opportunity will be for students who are behind in credits and in jeopardy of not graduating or not moving to the next grade level. SUMMER DRIVER'S ED TEACHER

Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School is currently looking for a summer driver’s education teacher. This classroom instruction is that part of the driver education course consisting of learning experiences centered in the classroom. The summer driver's ed course will take place in June with final dates and times determined by instructor and administration. SCHOOL DISTRICT NURSE

Arthur CUSD 305 is looking for a School District Nurse. The District Nurse will provide school health and nursing to students, conduct health histories, advise special education teams and teachers on student's health needs, oversee health records, assist in the development of accommodations for students with health issues, liaison to public health departments and other medical professionals. Candidate must be certified school nurse with ISBE PEL, LPN or Registered Nurse with current Illinois license in good standing, ISBE designation for IEP privileges, knowledge and background of student health, strong collaboration skills, knowledge of legalities in general and special education, attend and participate in IEP meetings, crisis/emergency management skills, current CPR and AED Certification, technology literate. SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Arthur CUSD 305 is looking for a Speech Language Pathologist. The Speech Language Pathologist will provide speech and language intervention and evaluations for students exhibiting speech and/or language delays. Candidate must have a Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology; Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (preferred/available); Certified Speech and Language Therapist with Illinois State Board of Education or a Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist. The school psychologist will be responsible for case study evaluation as well as intervention planning and problem-solving within the response to intervention framework.
