We would like to recognize this week's ALAH High School Shining Knights! Students are nominated by teachers for positives with academics, behavior or attitude. Students get a small reward for the week and will then be put in for a monthly drawing for a gift card. This weeks Shining Knights are: Kimberly Krutsinger, Kendall Carnahan, Lucas Butcher, and Josie Carrillo!

School will be dismissed early today and tomorrow. High school will dismiss at 2:00 and grade schools will dismiss at 2:15.

ALAH FCCLA learned what the thrill of a lifetime really is at the Fall Leadership Conf. at EIU. Keynote speaker Garrett LeVault spoke about how the real thrill is the risks you take in leadership. Members had a great time attending workshops and touring part of EIU Campus.

We would like to invite all members (coaches, players, and mangers) of the 2003 Arthur-Lovington football team to our playoff game this Saturday. At halftime we will recognize their 20th anniversary by announcing all team members in attendance. The 2003 team won the Little Okaw Championship (9-0), advanced to the IHSA State Quarterfinals, and ended the seson with an 11-1 record. #GoKnights
