A Little About Me:

I grew up on a farm near Quincy, Illinois. My family moved to Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri when I was eight years old. I graduated from Camdenton High School in Camdenton, Missouri in 1996. I attended Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. I majored in Agriculture with an emphasis in Animal and Equine Science.  I was involved in Sigma Alpha Agricutlure Sorority and during my senior year, I lived and worked on the University Farm.

I decided to go into agriculture education, so I  enrolled at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois.  After student teaching with Mrs. Mary Barnes at Barry High School, I earned my teachers certification in Agriculture Education in 2002. I have taught agriculture education at Waterloo High School.Brooklyn (Lovejoy) High School, Calhoun High School, and Lberty High School. I received my Masters of Science in Agriculture Education from the University of Illinois in 2013.
